Nashville, Tennessee

Just a very short trip to Nashville and taking in Loreta Lynn’s Birthday concert. Dinner at Merchants then on to the Bridgestone Arena. I’d even heard of some of the stars appearing, Garth Brooks (who I also saw at a Microsoft TechEd event in Dallas!) Brandi Carlile, Jack White and of course Crystal Gayle. The next day we walked about town, after breakfast at Wild Eggs, then the following day we headed out and visited the Carnton Plantation and Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage. Before flying home, we headed up into Kentucky – but hadn’t downloaded maps for that state, so when the phone gave up the route, we were following our noses to get back to Nashville and the airport without a map. Yikes!
