This was a relatively local trip, up to the North Cascades, a couple of nights in Winthrop and then looping back round via Pateros and Leavenworth and back to Seattle. The first day was dams, lakes and some waterfalls.

Sun Mountain Lodge had some good close trails – and found a good spot near the Columbia on the way back home to test out our new folding chairs (when I finally managed to get them assembled…)
