First time back to Austin since a ‘study tour’ with IBM more years ago that I care to remember (ok, about 24 years). Staying in a very nice Airbnb right in the center of town. Plenty of good restaurants to visit, but I won’t be taking pictures of those. A bite to eat and good cocktails at the Roosevelt Room the first evening and then a very long walk about town taking in the sites – ending up with dinner at The Lonesome Dove. “Austin” The Ellsworth Kelly Art installation (with the stained glass) was a highlight!

The next day more walking – along the Lady Bird Lake walk, then South of the river down Congress. June’s for lunch and Emmer and Rye for dinner.

The next day we walked West along the river walk, went for a swim at Barton Springs Municipal Pool – had a flight of beer at Hold-out Brewing and a very memorable meal as Hestia. Top Marks!

Final morning, breakfast at Trace, a look around the record collection at the W, a final few pictures then back home.
