A brief trip across country for a few days in Georgia and South Carolina, visiting Savannah and Georgia – a covid-delayed trip that finally got to happen. First a couple of days in Savannah, with good food at The Grey and The Olde Pink House. Long walks around the town and the quay, as well as a drive out to Wormsloe State Historic Park.
On the route to Charleston we took in Bluffton, Edisto Beach and The Angel Oak Tree
Lots of walking around Charleston followed, and good eating spots found at Husk, Magnolias and Slightly North of Broad. A worthwhile trip out to the McLeod Plantation Historic Site too, before heading home.
