The last two days of the trip – a quieter day at the Getty Center, then a final morning back at Universal Citywalk, an afternoon at Griffith Observatory, and a sunset over Marina Del Rey to close the loop back where the trip began.

A full day at the Getty Center – the gardens, the architecture, and the view out over the city from the hilltop.

The final day started early back at Universal Citywalk, then up to Griffith Observatory for the classic view of the Hollywood Sign – James Dean’s statue keeping watch over it, as always.

And back to where it all started – Marina Del Rey, with a proper sunset to close out the trip.

Ten days, four parts, and a proper loop of California – the coast, the Sierra, and back through LA. A trip worth doing all over again.
